Riverside City College offers a comprehensive musical and academic program for its music students. It is our goal to prepare students to transfer to prestigious universities and music schools.
Members of the piano faculty are active as performers, teachers, scholars and adjudicators. They are committed to excellence and helping prepare students for a career in music.
Piano students have opportunities to work with well-known and respected guest artists, admission to the new Digital Library Auditorium which houses a Steinway D piano, and access to the Kawai Piano Lab.

President's Honor Recital

The President’s Honor Recital presents outstanding performers of the classical repertoire in music who are selected by audition before the music faculty to represent different areas of applied music study at Riverside City College. There are over 150 students enrolled in applied music program at RCC. Being selected for this recital represents the highest honor a student performer can attain at RCC. Each student will receive a scholarship in recognition of his or her accomplishments in the area of music performance.
